Needs an active ICICI Direct trading & demat account.
  1. Log in at api.icicidirect.com/apiuser/home with your ICICI Direct credentials
  2. On the Breeze API dashboard, create a new app to get your API Key and Secret Key
Free to use.
Needs an active Kotak Securities Neo trading account.
  1. In the Kotak Neo app: More → Trade API → Create New Application — this gives you the Consumer Key (also called Access Token)
  2. Make sure TOTP (Google/Microsoft Authenticator) is set up for your Neo account — login needs a 6-digit TOTP code, not just your MPIN
Free to use.
Needs an active Zerodha trading account.
  1. Sign up at developers.kite.trade/signup using the email linked to your Zerodha account
  2. Under "My Apps" → "Create New App", fill in an app name, your Zerodha Client ID, and any redirect URL (this app doesn't use it — you'll paste the login token here manually)
  3. Choose the free "Personal API" plan — this app only reads holdings/positions/orders/funds and places orders, not live market data, so the paid ₹500/mo plan isn't needed
Double-check current plan details on Zerodha's site — they do change.
